Ted Cruz just spent 21+ hours on the floor of the Senate, addressing the most important of issues. Most any rational person would recognize ObamaScare as a total subjugation of our rights to the State. A moving of our nation closer and closer to a totally socialist type of government. And what did he get? Roundly criticized by the Republican Establishment. All those feeble old Establishment Critters that would sell Grandma to stay in power. The only thing I can think of that is worse than listening to McCain, Cornyn and McConnell is listening to that true power house, Hairy (take your gun) Reed* tell all who might listen that Ted Cruz wasted everyone’s time.

POTUS Obama the Impotent Pantywaiste Surrender Monkey truth-in-lending statement: Both President Obama and his wife, Michelle, are on Twitter. They have millions of followers.  Except it turns out that many of the Twitter groupies are fake: “. . . 37 percent of Michelle Obama’s 5,290,506 Twitter followers – or approximately 1,957,487 followers – are considered fake. Thirty-five percent of her followers are inactive, and 28 percent are considered “good,” or real.” She’s doing better than her husband. Just over half of his Twitter followers are fake. We are left to wonder how many of those fake followers are registered to vote in Chicago.

*yes, ma, I do know how to spell his f’in name.

Don’t Blink

Don’t Blink

I see the Conservative Republicans forced Boehner to back down from supporting ObamaScare. Now, all goes to the Senate, where the bill, while not DOA, will have the no-ObamaScare-money part stripped off and be sent back to the House, probably about 1 hour before the pending Govt. shutdown. The House GOP needs to be prepared to stand firm if the Senate Democrats succeed in stripping defunding language from the CR and send it back their way. An impasse is likely to come, and just like a game of chicken, he who blinks first loses.e9f4_calm_blink

So what’s the lesson here? Don’t let Liberals make inroads and get the upper hand. Liberals and their friends will pull out the stops to attack. Sometimes it’s a frontal attack. Sometimes it’s through a backdoor approach. In any event, it’s important to be proactive and to stay on offense. If you don’t, Obama and his minions will happily take the initiative.

In other words, Don”t Blink

Eat My Words

Should I? I made a serious mistake today. I read my own blog, clear back to 2009 when I was fresh and angry over the bull shit that POTUS the unwashed was spreading over this country.

Now, here we are 5 years down the road and I feel like I have been spitting in the wind. Nobama is still in charge, busy spreading lies, fostering hate and discontent, blaming all while never taking credit for anything. Telling all how bad the Republicans are. Spreading his vicious and evil version of race baiting, worse even than the hate spread by the likes of  Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton.

And here we are, coming into another mid-term election cycle. So, time to get back to work doing my best to encourage all to vote for the conservative candidates, or given no other  choice, to give token support the one least likely to sell out his vote to the highest bidder.

If you were a tea party enthusiast, clean the dust off your old signs, lets get out and be heard some more. Just think of the inroads we made. 2009 and 2010, both houses were Democratic. In 2010, we took back the house and made decent gains in the Senate. Even with the “popularity” of El Presidente, we took a few more gains in 2012. Now, with the overwhelming loathing for ObamaCare, we can and should maintain control of the House and easily take back the Senate.

Eat my words? no way… I can read my old blogs and stand by my words because I was right then, and I am right now.

The Govt. Loves Chicago Gun Control Laws

The Govt. Loves Chicago Gun Control Laws “Not a single gun shop can be found in this city because they are outlawed. Handguns were banned in Chicago for decades, too, until 2010, when the United States Supreme Court ruled that was going too far, leading city leaders to settle for restrictions some describe as the closest they could get legally to a ban without a ban. “

So…. How good are these laws? They certainly do not “protect” citizens from harm.

The grandmother of a 3-year-old who was among 13 people injured in a shooting Thursday night in Chicago made a tearful plea Friday for an end to gun violence in her city. Chicago had more than 500 homicides in 2012, according to FBI data, more than  New York City, which recorded 419, and Los Angeles, which saw 299. Both cities have populations greater than that of Chicago.

Maybe, do ya’ think, Chicago would be safer if the man on the street could legally carry a fire arm, letting the gangs and druggies wonder if they are going to get shot in commission of a crime? They obviously have no fear of the police.
