I was not aware that …

According to a teaching aid for civics teachers from YLI, a program of the University of Virginia Center for Politics, “Democracy is a journey that requires citizens to make decisions on how best to make the dream of freedom a reality.”

I was not aware that “we were still a nation of slaves, and the path to freedom is through bigger and bigger government.”

According to POTUS Obama the Impotent Pantywaist Surrender Monkey, we will have a secure future only if we have a “trade agreement” with South Korea to sell more cars. And, we have to raise taxes on the rich. POTUS Imbicilus Drunk Duck is upset that the Senate did not vote for “Nancy Pelosi Politics As Usual”

I was not aware that “selling cars to Korea and raising taxes on the rich was the only road open to our economic success.”

According to the AFL-CIO and SEIU, the economic proposals put forth by the National Commission on Fiscal Responsibility and Reform  are totally not acceptable.

I was not aware that “my government is run by the unions and the only acceptable policy is more, more, more.”

According to the blogcritics.org, “In truth, Reaganomics was a smoke screen for a hidden agenda. Taxes were cut, only in the first year of his presidency, to keep the American public happy while a plan to increase the national debt by $2.5 trillion was being concocted.”

I was not aware that “Not only is it Bush’s fault, the problem originated with that horrible conservative, Ronald Regan.”

However, I WAS aware that, according to Rasmussen Reports, “Sixty percent (60%) say a significant reduction in government spending is unlikely, including 21% who say it is Not At All Likely. [and] sixty-nine percent (69%) of voters are pessimistic about what Congress will accomplish in terms of government spending.”

And, I am most certainly aware that we need to watch our government very, very closely. We must communicate our wishes to the “Honorable Servants” we elected to carry out our wishes for Federal Govt. containment.

And, above all, we need to prepare for the 2nd Biannual Trash Removal Day coming your way in early November, 2012.
