It was a Merry Christmas. Now, give Manhattan back to the Indians

The Day After Christmas, along came blizzards, government Death Squads, and, of course, POTUS Obama the Impotent Pantywaist Surrender Monkey, aka the Prevaricating Usurper or Usurping Prevaricator.

1st, the weather. The East Coast is enjoying a White Christmas, as seen in this MSN.com photo:

Appears that this lady will not be able to ride home in her limo.

Donald Berwick, Medicare Czar

On to more cheerful news, the Whitehouse Mediscare DEATH PANEL CZAR DONALD BERWICK announced over the weekend that doctors will be paid to “counsel” you annually on how to die quickly by encouraging you to refuse treatment for serious, but not necessarily fatal illness. Liberal progressives immediately put out notice that one should not email the “good news” so that the Sheeple that voted the Prevaricating Usurper into office would not be upset during the holidays. The Whitehouse later released a statement blaming the Death Squad on President Bush.

Excuse me, did I read the calendar wrong? Is this really April Fools’ Day?

Not to be outdone by any minions, during a recent tribal nations conference, POTUS Obama the Impotent Pantywaist Surrender Monkey endorsed the “United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous People,” which includes a sweeping declaration that “indigenous peoples have a right to lands and resources they traditionally occupied or otherwise used” but that later were acquired by occupying forces. Academic legal experts indicate that American Indians during the Carter era first drew up plans for reacquisition of lost tribal lands, setting the stage for the U.N. resolution that Obama is embracing. The feasibility study, eyeing 650 million acres of federally owned land in the U.S., was conducted by the Indian Education Institute at Eastern Oregon State, one expert recalled for WND.

According to Fox news this morning, the Whitehouse is hiring bunches of lawyers to defend the mediscare end-of-life mandates.

Happy f…in’ New Year to you too,

POOF! 1960 pages magically appear

Here comes Hairy Reads 2 foot tall Budget. I just got a look at the stack of paper YOUR senators voted for. Believe me, it is going to be one harry reid, just trying to get through almost 2000 pages of legal mumbo-jumbo.

Porkulous 2011 contains a whole bunch of goodies. Here are a few I found:

  • Almost $5 billion in subsidies for corn-based ethanol and a continuing tariff to protect against ethanol imports
  • Bankrolling the operations of every Cabinet agency for the budget year that started last October.
  • $158 billion to pay for both Afghanistan and Iraq wars.
  • $450 million to develop a second engine for the F35 Joint Strike Fighter.
  • $80 million in grants to states and Indian tribes to preserve Pacific salmon
  • $13 million in clean water for rural and Alaska native villages
  • $4 million for the eradication efforts of marijuana in Kentucky
  • $8 million to maintain B-1 bomber fleet in South Dakota
  • virus-free grapes, and thousands more PORK projects.

On, on and more on. It just never stops. This is so reminiscent of last Christmas and we need you to YELL at the top of your lungs to let these people know that we will not accept these tactics and they will be held accountable!

NO PORK!!!

STOP THE SPENDING NOW!

NO STIMULUS NO OMNIBUS

I really do not know how we can wait for another election to clean house. Just imagine
2 more years of this bull shit
6:35 PM — Update from FOX NEWS .com
In total, thousands of earmark requests are listed. The financial services earmark chart, for instance, lists 220 earmark requests from dozens of lawmakers, mostly in the House, each worth anywhere from $50,000 to $2.4 million. The largest sum was requested by Inouye and his Hawaii colleague Sen. Daniel Akaka for “Bank on USA” demonstration projects” in their state. The projects are designed to give underserved communities greater access to financial institutions.

Elsewhere, the Department of Defense earmark list, mostly requests by senators, is 29 pages long and individual requests more often are worth $2 million to $5 million each. In that list, Inouye’s requests total more than $159 million, including $21 million for a Hawaii Federal Health Care Network. Cornyn’s defense spending earmarks total nearly $16 million.

Get ready now for the 2nd annual throw the bastards out day, coming near you early November 2012

If you think …

… that the government should take your money and give it to non-workers, you would be known as “compassionate”.
… that people should be held accountable for their own actions,  or that compassion and giving is a personal obligation that is best accomplished through non-government means, such as the Salvation Army or a local church, you would be known as a “Scrooge.”
John Scott (Fox News talking head) is calling 400,000 plus Florida homes up for repossession a “Real Estate Event.” Wow, John, is there even a glimmer of hope for any intelligent life between your ears?
While we are all discussing the health care vs.Virginia court ruling, the Republicans and Others Engaged in Non-Pelosi Politics are probably going to cave on big government spending plans to continue Government subsidies (IE: Your TAX $$$). Sen. Jim Inhofe (R., Okla.) “94 percent of the provisions are meaningful. For people talking about wind and ethanol subsidies, you’re talking about 2 percent of the whole deal,” Inhofe says. In remarks on the Senate floor earlier, Sen. John McCain (R., Ariz.) derided the so-called “Hawkeye Handout” before announcing that he would ultimately support the bill. When gasoline reaches $4.00 per gallon, will the ethanol issue still be considered a “2 percent” issue? Even the corn hustlers at POET have agreed to a lower subsidy rate.
To quote a RedState blogger, we have all heard of John Boehner’s pledge to vote on weekly spending cuts. But are they really going to pursue the substantial market distorting, special interest entitlements that are killing our economy, breaking the back of consumers, and infringing on our freedoms? As Ronald Reagan said, “If not us, then who? And if not now, when?”

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all my “Scrooge” friends.

What do Caves and Taxes have in common?

Most all the conservative blogs and news letters coming in today are talking about “President Caves” and are touting the No Taxes on Billionaires trade off for extended unemployment and new death taxes.

What, exactly, did the Republicans gain? Absolutely nothing. The Obama Tax Increase was not going anywhere, no how, no way. So, all they get to do is look good by letting POTUS Obama the Impotent Pantywaist Surrender Monkey get his way extending unemployment benefits and letting your grandchildren pay for it.

Sounds to me like the same-ol’-shit.

Speaking of spending as usual, there is an area I do not remember ever hearing of Congress getting involved in. That being Department of Labor (DOL) retraining programs. We all know that when one loses a job and cannot get a new one, re-education training is available. Here is what you may not have known: If a manufacturer moves a plant overseas to cut costs by firing a worker, YOU, the taxpayer, NOT the employer, get to pay the cost of retraining.
Now, here is a new hitch that was just “approved” by the beaurocrats at DOL. The Hartford insurance company in Connecticut outsourced a big chunk of it’s IT department to IBM so they could cut employees and reduce overhead. IBM in turn outsourced the IT to low cost overseas workers, laying off more employees.

Workers laid off from IBM’s operations on behalf of The Hartford insurance company in Connecticut are eligible to receive benefits under the government’s Trade Adjustment Assistance program, according to a notice published Monday in the Federal Register.

Under the program, the workers can get government subsidized training for new jobs, income supplements, healthcare tax credits, and other benefits.

This is good, and is as should be, except for one little problem. I cannot find where these behemoth-sized companies are being held responsible to pay for the retraining or for the destruction of American jobs and people’s opportunities. Looks to me like YOU and ME, the taxpayer, are stuck with this bill.
HI, I’M FROM THE GOVERMENT. I AM HERE TO …

AKA: Big Brother

ITEM: Some localities which just voted to ban traffic cameras were, Houston TX, Baytown TX, Anaheim CA, and Garfield Heights OH, which is now the fifth city in Ohio to ban such cameras. Most such votes have resulted in landslide opinion against the cameras.

ITEM: “The Tea Party is speaking out about this [TSA] invasion of privacy. We will not forget the 4th Amendment!” said Steve Eichler, Executive Director of Tea Party/TeaParty.org, referring to the Constitutional right of the people to be secure against unreasonable search and seizure…. “

ITEM: From April 2009: The FBI were spying on Tea Party protesters nationwide … as part of a covert program conducted without the knowledge of local law enforcement, according to a source named as a current FBI agent.

One of the aspects of the federal government’s surveillance that is rarely mentioned goes to the heart of why government surveillance of its citizens is so valuable — to provide a means to keep the citizenry subdued and subservient through a form of blackmail. For example, when Qwest CEO Joseph Nacchio refused to go along with NSA surveillance, the feds retaliated with an insider-trading prosecution against him. Even further back, through illegal wiretaps, the feds secretly recorded Martin Luther King and then attempted to blackmail him into ceasing his civil-rights activities by threatening to release information about extramarital affairs that he was purportedly having.

HI, I’M FROM THE GOVERNMENT, AND I AM HERE TO …

This has nothing to do with today’s post, but had to put this comment everyone liked from the PatriotUpdate.com:

Why should the American people have to pay more taxes so that Obuma can use our money to bail out the auto makers, insurance companies, banks and Wall Street. I for one am tired of supporting illegal aliens. I am tired of sending money to Haiti. I’m tired of sending our troops to fight and die in some war that is run by our congress and the supreme court. I’m tired of some holier than thou supreme court justice telling me my children can’t say the pledge of aledgiance to the FLAG OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA or sing Christmas songs for fear fear of offending some rag head islamic bastard who would just as soon kill me as not.

And these bastards have the nerve to want to use MY tax dollars to do this. “BULL SHEET”

I was not aware that …

According to a teaching aid for civics teachers from YLI, a program of the University of Virginia Center for Politics, “Democracy is a journey that requires citizens to make decisions on how best to make the dream of freedom a reality.”

I was not aware that “we were still a nation of slaves, and the path to freedom is through bigger and bigger government.”

According to POTUS Obama the Impotent Pantywaist Surrender Monkey, we will have a secure future only if we have a “trade agreement” with South Korea to sell more cars. And, we have to raise taxes on the rich. POTUS Imbicilus Drunk Duck is upset that the Senate did not vote for “Nancy Pelosi Politics As Usual”

I was not aware that “selling cars to Korea and raising taxes on the rich was the only road open to our economic success.”

According to the AFL-CIO and SEIU, the economic proposals put forth by the National Commission on Fiscal Responsibility and Reform  are totally not acceptable.

I was not aware that “my government is run by the unions and the only acceptable policy is more, more, more.”

According to the blogcritics.org, “In truth, Reaganomics was a smoke screen for a hidden agenda. Taxes were cut, only in the first year of his presidency, to keep the American public happy while a plan to increase the national debt by $2.5 trillion was being concocted.”

I was not aware that “Not only is it Bush’s fault, the problem originated with that horrible conservative, Ronald Regan.”

However, I WAS aware that, according to Rasmussen Reports, “Sixty percent (60%) say a significant reduction in government spending is unlikely, including 21% who say it is Not At All Likely. [and] sixty-nine percent (69%) of voters are pessimistic about what Congress will accomplish in terms of government spending.”

And, I am most certainly aware that we need to watch our government very, very closely. We must communicate our wishes to the “Honorable Servants” we elected to carry out our wishes for Federal Govt. containment.

And, above all, we need to prepare for the 2nd Biannual Trash Removal Day coming your way in early November, 2012.
