Reading Moe Lane’s blog in Red State about Joe Sestak reminded me of a conversation Shirley and I have had over the past few days. Fortunately, we never wholeheartedly disagree with each other, as relatively minor disagreements have sent cats scurrying and brought out the neighbors.
We are in agreement on one thing, though. To quote Moe Lane, ” Joe Sestak’s (D) admitting that the White House tried to bribe him reflects well on Sestak. Either Sestak is lying about this, in which case he’s, well, a liar who did so for crass political gain; or Sestak’s telling the truth about this, in which case he’s pretty much explicitly participating in a cover-up of a felony.” (Emphasis is mine.)
Yes, it is a big deal. In fact, it is such a big deal, Rep. Joe Sestak (D) should be denied seating in Congress until he either admits he LIED TO GET ELECTED, or NAMES PEOPLE, PLACES, TIMES AND OFFERS MADE.
